With service demand growing across the Connecticut shoreline, TPG Marinas has strengthened its leadership team at Noank Shipyard and Spicer’s Marina by welcoming marine industry veteran Bill Wiggins as Service Operations Manager.

CRANSTON, RI - As TPG Marinas continues to strengthen its service operations across the Connecticut
shoreline, the company is proud to welcome Bill Wiggins as the new Service Operations Manager for Noank Shipyard and Spicer’s Marina.
Bill joins the team with nearly four decades of experience in the marine industry, combining technical expertise, business leadership, and a lifelong connection to boating. His appointment reinforces TPG Marinas’ commitment to providing best-in-class service, operational excellence, and an exceptional experience for every member.
A Lifetime on the Water
Bill’s career began with the U.S. Coast Guard, where he developed a deep respect for precision, teamwork, and safety on the water. He went on to earn his 100-Ton Master Captain’s license and has since spent much of his life racing sailboats, delivering yachts, and helping boaters maintain their vessels.
That passion for boating and mechanical precision ultimately led him to found an e-commerce business specializing in high-performance sailing gear and rigging components. Under his leadership, the company grew to serve a nationwide customer base of sailors and performance boaters.
Leadership Through Experience
In his new role, Bill will oversee all service operations across both marinas, working closely with yard staff and customers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. His goal is to streamline processes, strengthen communication, and continue building the reputation of Noank Shipyard and Spicer’s Marina as trusted destinations for full-service marine care.
Committed to the Connecticut Boating Community
Based in Essex, Connecticut, Bill and his wife Ashley enjoy life along the shoreline with their children Jordan, Aria, and Anna, and their Toy Australian Shepherd, Bosun. When he’s not managing the yard or out on the water, Bill can often be found racing sailboats or working in the family garden.
His arrival marks another step in TPG Marinas’ continued investment in the region, ensuring local boaters have access to expert service and a team that shares their passion for life on the water.
