STEVE PFEUFER

Stephen Pfeufer brings a strong combination of hands-on marine experience and project management expertise to his new role as Marina Manager. A lifelong boater on both the North and South Shores of Long Island, Steve has spent his life around the water and understands what boaters need most from a marina. His professional background includes time in the construction industry as well as multiple leadership roles at marinas across Long Island. Most recently, Steve managed the Watch Hill and Sailor’s Haven Marinas on Fire Island, where his work earned them “Elite Fleet” recognition from Dockwa for three consecutive seasons. His focus on customer satisfaction, operational improvement, and team coordination has already made him a valuable addition to the TPG team.

BOATING EXPERIENCE

With decades of personal boating experience, Steve knows what it takes to create a marina environment that feels reliable, welcoming, and efficient. Growing up navigating the waters of Long Island, he developed a deep appreciation for boating as both a lifestyle and a responsibility. His personal time on the water directly influences the way he manages day-to-day marina operations, with an eye toward safety, quality, and anticipating customer needs. Steve’s background gives him a strong understanding of both seasonal and transient boating patterns and he’s always willing to offer practical advice to those exploring the local area.

LOCAL EXPERTISE

Steve’s familiarity with Long Island’s waterways and his recent management experience on Fire Island give him a well-rounded perspective on what makes a marina run smoothly. His knowledge of regional boating conditions, customer expectations, and seasonal operations help ensure guests receive an experience that reflects the quality and professionalism TPG is known for. He is currently overseeing several improvements at the marina and is focused on bringing the property up to the high standard that both longtime and new customers can count on.
